Do You Fear Success?
Have you ever thought of the concept that poverty is a way of living and thinking?
When you combine this with quantum physics and Eastern teachings of “Thoughts create or directly influence reality” it becomes clear that obstacles to financial and personal success are largely self-created.
Can you imagine NOT knowing what is possible? Learned possibilities are social constructs that can limit us!
Now modern psychology, tells us that most humans suffer to some degree from low self-esteem. This is a representation of not feeling worthy of the success that we desire and need. Therefore, if left unchecked it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy! We seem to regard other people as better, more deserving, or as having a magical key to a successful life neatly tucked into a secret pocket when in fact they are just believing and behaving differently to you.
When we fail all that is happening is the universe is telling us that we did not get things quite right, and need to try again. We should regard failure as an educational asset, and our perceived adversity as an opportunity for progress.
The powerful paradox here is that if you do not fear failure, you have to be success full! Think about this statement for a moment................
To succeed means to be a winner YES, but it also carries the responsibility of being able to respond positively to your environment while you are experiencing success. This is the secret of allowing success to grow and mature in your life or reality.
Do you fear the burden of success?
Success is only achieved through progress, and progress is only achieved through risk. The degree of success that you achieve and sustain is directly related to how you assess risk! Humans fear risk because it involves dealing with unknown concepts and quantities. We’re not sure what will happen if we take action, and that is a frightening concept
David Stirling, the founder of the SAS (Special Air Service) imprinted the motto of the unit into the attitude and mind of its members – “Who Dares Wins”. The soldiers within the unit however are so well trained and prepared that they are able to assess risk effectively and succeed in the face of adversity because the risks that they take are actually calculated decisions. TRAINIG AND EXPERIENCE (learning and adapting from past failure) enable us to assess risk differently and make decisions differently.
Anthony Robbins said in one of his recorded seminars that “The moment one defiantly commits one’s self then the whole universe gears its self to support you”
Unfortunately, when we fear the risk of taking action, we are ineffectual, waiting forever for perfect conditions. We never change. We never progress. We never become anything other than what we already are. We procrastinate, and attempt to content ourselves with a “someday I will” philosophy of living.
Do you fear the risk of success?
Are you willing to change?
Is the difference between who you are now, and who you want to be creating stress in your life?
The good news is that by having the courage to read this short article, you have already made the change; you have allowed yourself to entertain the possibility that you can do things differently, take charge of your life and get what you want!
This process is called Conscious Awareness and it is on these very same principles that the STRESS AWARENESS concept is based!
Thanks you for having the courage to BE YOU!
